Veterans Covert Protection Group (VCPG)
Location: Pleasanton, CA (Assignment in Atherton)
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $28–$30 per hour + overtime

Work Schedules Available:

• Full-Time: Thursday–Monday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
• Part-Time / On-Call (Flexible):
  • Swing Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
  • Graveyard Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM.

Position Overview:
As an Unarmed Corporate Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure corporate environment by monitoring premises, enforcing policies, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Control access points and verify identification of employees and visitors.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
• Write clear and accurate incident reports.
• Provide excellent customer service and act as a visible security presence.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior security experience preferred (but not required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Proficient with smartphones, incident-reporting applications, and email.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to consistently work 8-hour day or night shifts with overtime as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid guard card/license (if required by state).
• Must pass background screening consistent with role requirements.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to approximately 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to climb stairs regularly.
