Title: Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst Division Name: Finance and Planning Department: Superintendence
Under general supervision, coordinates, plans, schedules and supervises activities related to the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of the Geographic Information System (GIS), which provides technical guidance and assistance to Facilities Services. This position also performs technical and analytical tasks with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other systems to support Facilities Services and strategic campus partners.

$58,000-$68,000/year
1. Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Information Technology (IT), or related field. 2. Two years of full time (or part-time equivalent) work experience in a related field (facilities management, statistics, architecture, asset management, etc.) utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to create maps or other data visualization, perform data collection/manipulation/analysis, as well as configure/implement web and mobile applications.
1. Experience with the ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, extensions, and applications) and mobile field data collection (e.g., ArcGIS Field Maps, ArcGIS Survey 123, and GPS devices). 2. Experience with geodatabases, data management, cartography, and system administration. 3. Working knowledge of expression/scripting languages such as Arcade, Python, or SQL. 4. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and effective communication. 5. Willing to learn other information technology systems. 6. Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) certification or other GIS certifications. 7. Have a valid Class D drivers' license.
Core work hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. - will require occasional evening and weekend hours as business needs dictate
