Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $20 - $20 / hour*

What you'll be doing as an Industrial Plant Laborer:

• Operate within a waste-to-energy facility, assisting in the safe processing and burning of municipal waste
• Support ash removal from hoppers and maintain continuous material flow
• Assist with general plant maintenance, cleanup, and operational support tasks
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, bobcats, and pallet jacks to move materials safely
• Monitor work areas to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Follow all site procedures and safety protocols in a high-temperature, industrial environment

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Forklift certification required
• Strong work ethic and reliability in a physically demanding environment
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform labor for extended periods
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
• Ability to wear a respirator and full protective suit at all times on site
• Ability to follow strict safety procedures and compliance guidelines
• Background check required
• Drug test required
