Social Media Specialist
Our client in Poughkeepsie is seeking a Social Media Specialist to strengthen their online presence. You will be responsible for being the voice of the company on their respective social networks, helping to execute the social media strategy that engages consumers, bringing them closer to the brand.
Social Media Specialist Responsibilities:
»Assist in maintaining and growing social media presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms as needed to create sharable content
»Assist with research, writing, and proofreading related to promotional materials and e-blasts
»Manage a content marketing calendar
»Optimize social media conversations for maximum reach
»Build professional relationships with the public in order to increase business development
Social Media Specialist General Requirements:
»Two years of professional Marketing/Social Media/Inside Sales practice required
»Bachelors Degree in Marketing strongly preferred
» knowledge of the digital landscape and a proven interest in keeping up to date with developments in social media platforms
»Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an capability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions
This is a part time position, either two full days or three half days. Pay rate is $20-$25 per hour to start.
