Maintenance Manager | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $90,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the diagnosis, repair, and troubleshooting of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Manage the maintenance budget, including spare parts inventory, tools, and external contractor services.
• Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, reduce downtime, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies for maintenance operations.
• Collaborate with production and engineering departments to optimize asset reliability and support new equipment installations.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, including staff development and performance management.
• Strong understanding of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and asset reliability principles.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and optimize preventative, predictive, and proactive maintenance programs.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills for complex machinery and systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Proven experience implementing advanced predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, acoustic monitoring).
• Proficiency with specific enterprise-level CMMS platforms like SAP PM or Maximo.
