Job Description

We are hiring for a Temporary Office Manager role located in New York, New York working with a great team in the nonprofit space. salary: $28 - $32 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 9 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

Facilities Management : Ensure the efficient operation of the office environment, addressing the needs of staff and visitors. Oversee the acquisition and maintenance of office equipment and supplies, manage capital improvements, and maintain vendor relationships. Serve as the liaison with building management and coordinate maintenance requests. Handle on-site document management and storage

Office Services, Meetings, and Communications : Promote a customer-focused approach while managing reception and administrative tasks. Organize and oversee various meetings and events, including logistics such as location, catering, and setup. Maintain a comprehensive database of partners. Manage incoming mail and distribute it to the appropriate recipients

Budget and Contracts : Work with finance teams to handle financial activities such as accounts payable, expense reporting, and contract management, in line with organizational policies. Oversee vendor contracts related to office services and facilities management budgets

Human Resources : Support the hiring process, assist with onboarding new employees, and manage offboarding for those leaving the organization

Administrative Support : Provide general administrative assistance for various programs and individuals

Additional Responsibilities : Perform other tasks as needed, which may involve complex duties requiring foresight or additional program support
