TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking experienced Endoscopy Technicians for travel assignments in various healthcare settings. This role involves assisting in endoscopic procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians and nurses in performing endoscopic procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Ensure sterile field integrity and follow infection control protocols.
  • Handle specimen collection and proper labeling for laboratory analysis.
  • Document patient information and procedural details accurately.
  • Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions.
  • Travel to assigned healthcare facilities as required.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate’s degree or certification in Endoscopy Technology or a related field.
  • Certification: Certified Endoscopy Technician (CET) preferred; Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an endoscopy or gastroenterology unit preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of endoscopic procedures, equipment handling, and patient care.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to accept travel assignments and relocate as needed.
