Printing Press Operator

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $14 - $16 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Printing Press Operator:

• Set up and operate printing press machines according to job specifications
• Review job orders to determine ink colors, paper type, and print quantities
• Adjust press settings such as speed, pressure, and ink flow for optimal print quality
• Monitor print runs to ensure consistent quality and alignment
• Inspect finished materials for defects, color accuracy, and proper registration
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical or printing issues during production
• Maintain accurate production records and job documentation
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
• Work closely with production team members to meet deadlines

Job Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience operating printing press equipment preferred
• Knowledge of printing processes, inks, paper types, and press operation
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Background check and drug screening required
